There is heavy textured detail on each fish. One brass fish is slightly wobbly in it's marble stand. There is white residue on one side of the bookend that is wobbly. The bookend could possibly be tightened by the screw on the bottom. One base has exposed marble and the other base has a soft brown finish. Each bookend weighs 1 lb, 13 oz.
