The cover is hard with edges that bend downward. There is an ex-libris sticker on the left endpaper. There is penciling on a pre-title page that will be erased prior to shipping. The title page is heavily tanned. There is a chip on the page after the title page. There is an illustration of Eftienne Iodelle on the frontispiece. Vie D’Estienne Jodelle is dated 1532-1573. The interior pages are somewhat soft, crisp and heavily tanned throughout. The original placeholder ribbon is enclosed. This book may have been rebound in this leather.
