The leather on the upper cover is rubbed. The leather on the upper and lower backstrip is rubbed. The back cover matches the front cover. The endpaper marbling matches the front cover. There is beautiful marbling color on the outside of the pages. There is an ex-library stamp on a pre-title page. There is a very large foxing spot on the title page. That bleeds through page 1 of the Memoir. More large foxing begins after that and continues through page xxxi. The remain pages are mostly white. There is a medium foxing spot (center) from page 96-133.
