The cover is bright royal blue with purple undertones. There is bright gilt decoration on the cover. There is heavy dark foxing on the title page. The front section including the gray endpapers, tissue, and the title page through page 8 are loose and bundled together. The hinge at the front endpapers is fragile. The interior pages are mostly white with mild tanning throughout, and occasional large foxing spot. The book includes a fold out copy of a printed story letters and poems of Mary Lamb. A recollection of the Lambs by one who knew them. 294 pages + Appendix. Size: 7 3/4 x 5 1/4”
