The book and cover lean forward. The back cover is good. There is a private collection sticker on the left endpaper dated 1899. There is a rubbed area on the right endpaper. The endpapers are decorated with a green leaf motif. There is a detailed large sword-fight illustration on the frontispiece. The tissue is included. There are a couple black and white illustrations. The interior pages are mostly white and a little stiff with very mild tanning.
