The gilt on the cover and backstrip is soiled / darkened. The back cover is beige. The endpapers are decorated with a penned signature on the left endpaper. There is a penned signature on the first title page (upper edge). There is a color plate illustration of "Ophelia" on the frontispiece. The interior pages are soft and intact with moderate tanning throughout. 383 pages, size: 6.5 x 4.35"

There is a light pen mark on the cover on the title. The backstrip is heavily darkened with a tear on the upper backstrip edge. The back cover is tan and good. The endpapers are clean and white. There is light purple crayon swipes on a blank pre-title page. The interior pages are soft and intact with moderate tanning throughout. There is a brown spot in the margin on page 153. There is a streak of purple crayon on page 76-77. 383 pages, size: 6.35 x 4.25"
