The cover corners are lightly bumped. The back cover is black with lightly soiled areas. The hinge is cracked at the endpapers. The cover / backstrip may have been reattached to the inner spine. There is a small ex-libris sticker on the left endpaper. There is mild tanning on the endpapers. There is a beautiful frontispiece illustration that has a moisture spot all along the lower edge. The tissue is enclosed. The interior pages are crisp and intact with mild to moderate tanning throughout. The book is full of full page black and white illustrations. Many of the illustrations have moisture spots along the lower edge of the page. The moisture spots on illustrations get heavier toward the back of the book, covering half the page. Size: 8.15 x 5.35”, 515 pages.
