The eye piece is iridescent mother of pearl with a mostly pink hue. The viewing glass is mostly clear with a few light speckles of dust. The center turn dial turns easily. The leather case has a handle on top that is nearly separated by still intact. The case closes with the binoculars inside. There is wear and bumps on the case as expected with the age. The original brass closure is nice. The blue cloth inside is nice visible residue from storing the binoculars over time. The hardware holding the lid is good, but should be handled with care. The case is 4.5 x 3 x 2"
