An antique French empire gold crowned frame with cream / beige cloth and pressed gold decoration. The cream cloth has small brown spots in most areas that range from dark to light. The outer gold edge of the frame is good with some darkening, particularly along the upper edge. The ribbon and floral crown similarly is darkened with patina. The gold on the outer edge of the frame has some light scratches from age / wear. The frame is firmly held tight together. The kickstand is firm and works well.
