The cover is a matte navy blue cloth with discoloration on the cover corners. There is visible dark moisture markings on the left edge of the cover along the backstrip edge. It does not affect the interior pages. The gilt decoration on the backstrip is darkened. There is shelf-wear on the upper and lower backstrip. There is a pencil notation on the right, white endpaper. There is a detailed black and white illustration on the frontispiece with descriptive tissue opposite. The pages have deckled edges. The interior pages are crisp, white and intact with mild tanning throughout. There are couple additional black and white illustrations on slick paper. 325 pages.
