The cover is white with gilt decoration. There is discoloration on the lower right cover corner. The cover illustration is in color with a few black spots on the two girls. There is a crack on the lower cover / backstrip connection. There is some darkening on the backstrip. The back cover is lightly soiled. The covers and backstrip are connected but completely separated from the inside pages. There is a 0.5-inch horizontal tear on the frontispiece. The interior pages feel fragile.
