Volume 1: The binding is cracked at the lower cover / backstrip connection. There had been a paste-on label with the publisher information and that has been removed. The pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. There is a large soil spot on page 171. 223 pages.
Volume 2: There are small rubbed areas on the front and back cover. There are light soil spots or fingerprints on the first few pages. The pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. There is heavier foxing in some areas such as on pages 50-51, 141, 200 pages.
Volume 3: There is paper missing on the upper and lower cover / backstrip connection. There is a small dark spot on the title page. There is a black spot on the upper margin of pages 16-17. There is other areas of light foxing throughout. 220 pages.
