Grecian cover motif. From the Muses' Library. Back cover is plain teal and very good. Eps are white with penciled signature of former owner. Tissue is tanned. Illustration of the author on frontispiece. Interior pages are white, clean and well intact with mild tanning. Two tiny white spots in upper left cover corner. Cover corners bend downward slightly. Mild antique darkening on the spine. 318 pages, 6 3/4 x 4 x 1 3/8"

Book includes a few black and white illustrations. Photograph of author on frontispiece. Interior pages are crisp, white, clean and well intact. Rear eps are white with sticker residue. 234 pages, 6 3/4 x 4 5/8"

Several discoloration spots on the cover cloth. Wear to upper and lower spine. Gilt present on the spine. Cloth hole at lower spine over publisher name. Back cover is plain green and good. Eps are decorated with tan floral motif and clean. Webbing visible at endpapers. Second eps is slightly loose. Black and white illustration on frontispiece. Interior pages are soft, clean, well intact and moderately tanned. Several black and white illustrations throughout. Occasional upper right corner is bent. Occasional foxing spot. Rear eps are decorated with former sticker residue. 7 5/8 x 5 1/4", 821 pages
