The cover is lightly shabby with faded areas on all sides. The gilt on the cover is bright. There is discoloration and wear on the cloth on the upper and lower backstrip. There is a pressed emblem on the back cover. There is a penned message on the right endpaper. The endpapers are decorative. The first title page has a somewhat shabby lower edge. The second title page is moderately tanned. The interior pages are crisp with mild to moderate tanning throughout. The back cover is slightly warped upward.
