There are a few small white spots on the cover. The cloth is lightly fraying on the upper and lower backstrip. There are some soil spots on the back cover. There is some webbing exposed at the endpapers. The right edge of the title page is chipped at crushed. The pages are soft and white with mild to moderate tanning throughout. There is occasional foxing, particularly on the back of illustrations. There is soiling on the upper gutter on pages 12-13. Page 13-14 is detached. There are a few full page black and white illustrations.
