Large edition with gilt cover decoration and peacock. White cloth with fading of gilt on the spine. Black streak on the lower green peacock feathers. Dark spot and a few red spots on the back cover. Book is a bit shaken. Hinges are cracked at the white endpapers with string visible. Pre-title pages is nearly loose. Book has many black and white illustrations throughout full page and small. Book includes Victorian b&w photographs, possibly of individuals in the play. Book appears clean with white page and mild tanning on page edges throughout. Book covers feel fragile due the weight of the book . 770 pgs. 9 x 6 x 2 1/4"
