The cover is white but somewhat darkened from soiling. The outer edge of the cover and corners are bumped with under-board exposed. There is a brown spot near the upper right corner. The book feels somewhat shaken. The white cloth on the backstrip is darkened along the lower-half. There is fraying and shelf-wear on the upper and lower backstrip. The back cover is mostly white with some soiling. There is a penned message on the right endpaper dated 1905. The book lays flat when opened. The hinge is cracked at the title page with webbing exposed. The interior pages are soft, clean, white and intact. There is a 1.5-inch vertical moisture brown spot across the upper right corner of page 135.
