The cover is marbled with colors of gray, seafoam green, and tan. The upper right cover corner is bent forward and cracked. The white vellum on the cover is lightly soiled. The white vellum backstrip is darkened with bright gilt decoration. The back cover matches the front cover. The cover warps upward slightly. There is a chip on the left edge of the marbled paper near the center. The endpapers are brightly marbled (pictured). The interior pages are crisp, clean and intact with heavy tanning throughout.
