The cover corners are bumped. The upper right corner bends upward and the lower right corner bends downward. The under-board is exposed on a back cover corner. There are some vertical creases on the backstrip paper. The paper is torn away on the lower right corner of the right backstrip paper. There is a light penned signature in calligraphy on the upper edge of a pre-title page. The type on the white pages feel slightly raised. The lower left corners are earred from page 20-26. The binding is very tight from the middle of the book through the back. There is at least one additional black and white illustration after the title page illustrations. There is occasional light foxing. 260 pages.
