The covers are rich shades of tan brown. All the covers are attached. There is a "14" in chalk on one cover. There are white rubbed areas on some covers. The backstrip paper labels are darkened and rubbed in some areas. The cover of volume 7 has a dent on the lower edge (center). The lower corner of volume 10 curls upward. There is some paper missing on the upper and lower backstrip with some under spine exposed.
Volume 6: The interior pages are mostly white with mild to moderate tanning throughout and occasional light foxing. The outer edge of some pages are soiled. 884 pages. Volume 7: The interior pages have mostly mild tanning throughout. There is more heavy foxing in the margin toward the back of the book and occasional large brown foxing spots. 728 pages. Volume 10: There is dark tanning on the outer edge of the title page. The interior pages have heavier tanning over the print and more consistent moderate foxing throughout. 628 pages. Volume 14: There are larger foxing spots on the title page. Sections of the book have very heavy dark tanning. There are areas of very large and very dark foxing. There is heavy foxing in the back-half of the book. There is a section of Tables beginning at page 442 for an additional 235 pages. 677 pages.
