The book has pale pink carnation flowers on the cover with textured gilt. The outer edge of the cover is bumped. There is under-board exposed on the cover corners. The gilt on the backstrip bright. There is a puncture hole in the backstrip cloth below the title with some cloth curling upward. There are some brown spots on the title block. The back cover matches the front cover and is good. The endpapers are mildly tanned with a penned message in cursive. The hinge is cracked at a blank pre-title page and at page 92 making the book feel somewhat fragile. The book will lay open flat due to the cracked hinge. Tissue is enclosed. The first title page is decorated. There are a few pages with a light soil swipe across the page, page 14, 15, 97. The interior pages are crisp and white with mild tanning throughout. The outer edge of the interior pages are gilded. 354 pages, 7.25x5”
