There is heavy soiling on the cover and faded blue writing on the upper cover. There is a puncture hole below the title on the cover. There are rubbed areas on the backstrip vellum and script. The back cover is good with soiling. The book opens to picture #7. The hinge is cracked and the upper text on page 1 is covered by a patch with heavy tanning and soiling. After page 2 the pages become cleaner but the binding is fragile. Book one is detached from the cover binding. There is mild tanning and foxing throughout. There is an occasional moisture spot in the upper right corner. Volume 2 is not complete. It ends at page 320, but it doesn't appear to be the end of the book. The last page is very heavily soiled. The book has beautiful patina. Size: 8.5 x 5.5"
