Cover is bright green with heavy gilt decoration. The center cover art depicts cranes and other birds. There are small sections of paper missing on the backstrip at the back cover / backstrip connection. Paper on the lower backstrip is curling upward. The back cover is bright and good. The book leans to the left slightly. There is a picture of two birds on the frontispiece. The outer edge of interior pages are gilded. The interior pages are crisp, white and intact with occasional mild tanning throughout. There are several additional illustrations of birds throughout.
