The larger book in the set. Size: 8.5 x 5.5”. The cover is dark plum purple with discoloration along the backstrip connection. There is a “14” in pencil on the cover that could be erased. The backstrip label residue is visible. There is a scripted “14” on the lower backstrip. There is splitting and chipping along the cover / backstrip connections. The back cover matches the front cover and is good. The title page is white with mild tanning and foxing. The interior pages are intact with moderate tanning and foxing throughout. The outer edge of the pages appears lightly soiled / shabby. 490 pages.

The cover is lightly rubbed with some discoloration. There is light creasing on the cover paper. The backstrip label is shabby. There is paper curling and missing on the upper and lower backstrip. The back cover has a horizontal tear (center) approx 1.5”. The binding feels shaken. The title page is white with light foxing. The interior pages are mostly white and stiff with mild foxing throughout. 442 pages, size: 6.5 x 4”

The antique paper label is soiled. There is paper missing on the upper and lower backstrip. The back cover matches the front cover. The title page is white with mild foxing. The book is shaken. The binding is split and held by strings at page 133. The pages are mostly white and lightly textured with mild tanning and foxing throughout. The foxing is more dense in the back. 351 pages.
