The cover corners are lightly bumped. Cloth missing on the upper cover / backstrip connection is missing from the front cover. The gilt on the backstrip is slightly darkened. There is wear and pulling of the cloth on the upper and lower backstrip. The backstrip has light scratches and a pressed center emblem. There is webbing visible at the endpapers and a private library sticker. The upper hinge is cracked at the endpapers making the cover feel fragile. The endpapers are decorated with gray and white leaves. There is an illustration and tissue on the frontispiece. There are several full page black and white illustrations throughout. The interior pages are soft, white and intact with mild tanning throughout. 429 + 402 pages, size: 7.65 x 5.15"
