The center illustration is darkened by soiling. The cover corners are bumped and there is heavy soiling along the upper cover edge. The cover warps upward on the upper and lower edge (pictured). There is paper missing on the upper backstrip. There is some soiling on the backstrip. The back cover is good with a bright floral decoration. There is a light moisture spot in the upper gutter and a long the upper page edge throughout the book. In addition to the frontispiece there are around five black and white illustrations. The pages are a little stiff and white. Moisture on the upper edge is a littler darker on the back pages.
