There is an orange paper label on the backstrip. There is soiling along the back cover and backstrip connection. There are dark ink spots on the back cover. The hinge is completely separated at the title page, making the cover feel fragile. There is light foxing on the title page and a dark ink spot on the lower right corner. The interior pages are soft, white and intact with occasional light foxing. There are many illustrations in black and white and diagrams throughout the book. There is one full page color page on the color spectrum (pictured). The tissue opposite the color illustration is torn. There is ink stain on the lower edge of the last pages from pages 311 - End. 414 pages, size: 7.75 x 5”
