The lower right corner of the cover is missing. The right edge of the cover is tanned. The back cover and backstrip are good with advertising on the back. There is a photograph of the author on the frontispiece. The interior is white and clean with mild tanning throughout and occasional light foxing. The book includes several black and white illustrations and at least one photograph. 239 pages, size: 9 x 4 3/4"

The cover was blue but now has heavy green discoloration / patina. The lower right cover corner curls upward. The original paper label on the backstrip is pulled downward exposing the under-spine. There is a vertical crack in the backstrip paper. The back cover is good and matches the front cover. The interior pages are mostly white and intact with light texture on the pages. There is occasional mild tanning or foxing spots. 442 pages, 9 1/4 x 5 5/8"
