The covers are medium pink and lightly textured with hints of purple undertone. The backstrips are pink and tanned with some areas of moisture spot. Volume 1: The original backstrip paper label is rubbed. The right lower cover corner is chipped. A small section of pages are cracked at the upper-right backstrip. The title page is tanned in the gutter and the upper right corner curls upward. Most of the pages are light to moderately tanned throughout with an occasional brown foxing spot. 458 pages. Volume 2: has a tear / chip on the lower cover edge. There is a little paper missing on the lower right backstrip edge. The title page is mildly tanned with moderate foxing and a moisture spot along the upper edge of the page. The moisture spot on the upper page edge continues for much of the book. The book has varying areas of moderate to very heavy tanning throughout. There are occasional areas of dark brown foxing spots. 536 pages. Volume 3: The backstrip label is darkened. The title page is moderately tanned. The interior pages are heavily tanned throughout with occasional brown foxing spots. 494 pages. Volume 4: The backstrip is darkened. There is a small brown spot on the cover. The interior pages are heavily tanned throughout, many pages with a quarter-inch brown spot. The back cover is mostly loose and held on by ~2-inches. 600 pages. Volume 5: The lower right corner paper is curled upward. There is a rubbed area on the backstrip label. The gutter on the title page is heavily tanned. The interior pages are moderately to heavily tanned throughout with a mositure spot along the upper page edge throughout. There are occasional foxing spots that are dark brown. 545 pages. Volume 6: There is heavy foxing on the title page. The interior pages are moderately tanned throughout with heavy tanning on a last section of pages. 528 pages.
