Volume 40: Title is Faceties Etmelanges Litteraires. The backstrip and covers are good. There is white discoloration near the upper right cover corner. The interior pages are stiff and white with some areas of moderate foxing. 605 pages.
Volume 41: Title is Faceties Melanges Litteraires, Volume II. The binding is cracked near the middle of the binding and the pieces are held together by a string. The backstrip label is very faded. The upper right cover corner is bumped and bent upward. There are very dark speckles on the lower outer edge of pages 19 to 127, and sections of additional pages. The interior pages are mostly white and stiff with areas of mild foxing throughout. 605 pages.
Additional Volume: Title is Dictionnaire Philosophique, Volume 5. There are two small puncture holes on the cover. There are two puncture holes on the a pre-title page (over the volume number). The interior pages are stiff, white and intact with occasional light tanning throughout. 665 pages.
