Beautiful ornate copy of Arnold Hoogvliet's work from the mid-1700s. The book is full of detailed black and white full page illustrations throughou. The binding is cracked at the upper backstrip / cover connections, making the cover slightly fragile. There is bright gilt on the backstrip. There is marbling on the outer edge of the interior pages. There is a loose illustration enclosed (pictured). There is decorative partial page illustrations and the chapter headers and end. The print size (font) is large throughout. Nearly each new chapter has a full page illustration associated with it. Size: 8 x 6 1/4 x 1 1/8"
