The gray / brown cover cloth is heavily darkened with leaf and landscape decoration. The book slants forward. The backstrip is heavily darkened and the decoration is hardly visible. The back cover is brown and good with light soiling. The white endpapers are clean with moderate foxing. The title page has light soiling. The black and white illustration on frontispiece is pictured. The interior pages are soft, white and intact with moderate soiling throughout the book, particularly along the lower margin. There is a small hole in upper right corner of page 97. The Chapter headers are decorated.
