Lucile by Owen Meredith. Published by Thomas Y Crowell & Co, NY. Copyright 1892. Small edition with pale green cloth and faint pink flowers. There is a circular brown spot centered on the cover. The floral decoration is extended to the spine with faint gilt title. Lower spine is rubbed. Back cover is decorated with pink floral motif. Eps are white with faint penciled signature. Black and white illustration of a man and woman on frontispiece. Tissue is present. Interior pages are soft, white and well intact with mild tanning throughout. There is a small 1 cm crease in the right margin from page 181-194. 360 pages, 6 x 4 1/8"

Birket Foster R.W.S. by H.M. Cundall. Published by Adam and Charles Black, London. Copyright 1906. Published with several full page color plate illustrations with opposite tissue. Decorative blue cover cloth with purple undertones and pale turquoise leaves. Gilt on the cover is bright. The spine is heavily faded to tan with gilt present. Heavy wear, chipping of the cloth on the upper spine. Back cover is plain blue and good. Eps are white with a small bookstore sticker. Photograph of Birket Foster on frontispiece. Tissue present. Published with high quality white paper and many black and white illustration / decorations throughout.
