The cover is painted purple hard-board with white discoloration spots. The cover corners are lightly bumped. The beige vellum wrapped on the backstrip is soiled. The title block on leather on the backstrip has bright gilt. The back cover matches the front cover. The endpapers are white. There is an ex-library blue round stamp on a pre-title page. The interior pages are soft, white and intact with occasional light foxing throughout. There is heavier foxing from page 146-149. 180 pages.
