Greek Heroes by Kingsley. Published by H.M. Caldwell Co, New York around 1895 (no date). Contents include the Story of Perseus, Story of the Argonauts, and Story of Theseus. The cover is two-toned with green cloth and white floral illustration. There are small water spots on the white cover. The cover corners and outer cover edge are bumped with under-board exposed. The backstrip is removed with under webbing exposed. The back cover is two-toned white and green. There are two penned signatures on the white endpapers. The hinge is cracked at the pre-title page and the frontispiece and title page are loose. The frontispiece illustration is in color. There is art nouveau style lines on the title page. The interior pages are soft, white and intact with mild tanning throughout. 206 pages, 6 x 4 1/4"

Barnaby Rudge by Charles Dickens. Published around 1890 by Frank F Lovell & Company, New York (no date). The cover is light blue with black decoration. There is a pink soil spot on the lower cover (center). The cover corners bend downward. There is heavy soiling and wear on the backstrip. There is cloth missing and fraying on the upper backstrip. There is a puncture hold below the author's name. The gilt title block is darkened. The back cover is blue with two brown soil spots. The white endpapers are moderately tanned with a private library sticker. The title page is heavily tanned with a small tear at the bottom edge (~1cm). The interior pages are soft with very heavy tanning throughout. There is moisture stain in the lower right corner of interior pages and along the upper edge. 382 pages, 7 1/2 x 5 1/8"

The backstrip is darkened. There is shelf-wear on the upper and lower backstrip. The back cover is gray with heavy soiling / fingerprints. There is advertising on the endpapers. There is a penned signature on the upper title page. The interior pages are stiff, white and intact.
