The Poetical Works of William Cowper. Edited by Rev. Robert Aris Willmott. Published by George Routledge and Sons, London around 1900 (n.d.). Maroon cloth cover has a bright gilt title block. Small tear on the upper backstrip. Back cover is brown / red with black decoration. Eps are clean. Dark penned message on blank pre-title page. Heavy foxing on tissue stained the title page. Decorative red border on the title page is extended throughout the book. Outer edge of interior pages are gilded. Interior pages are soft, white and intact with mild tanning throughout. There are around four black and white illustrations throughout. 629 pages + advertising, 7 1/2 x 5 1/4"

Cover has pink decoration and tanning along the outer edge. Gilt on the backstrip is bright. Back cover decoration matches the front cover. Eps are white with some foxing. Interior pages are soft, white and intact with moderate tanning throughout. Book includes several illustrations and photographs throughout. 391 pages, 7 7/8 x 5 1/8"

Eps are white with a private library sticker. Book is full of many beautiful color plate illustrations throughout. Interior pages are crisp and intact with heavy tanning and foxing throughout.
