"Outre-Mer, A Pilgrimage Beyond the Sea" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Published in a Caxton Edition by Belford, Clarke & Company, Chicago around 1885 (no date). The cover is dark gray with blue undertones and embossed decoration. The cover corners bend downward. The gilt and cloth on the backstrip is darkened. The back cover is dark gray with blue undertones. The endpapers are pale blue and clean. The title page is very heavily tanned. The interior pages are intact and heavily tanned throughout. 276 pages, size: 7.5 x 5.25".

"The Last Essays of Elia" by Charles Lamb. Published by Hurst and Company in an Arlington Edition around 1890 (no date). The cover is a dark burgundy with purple undertones. The backstrip is discolored to tan with a gilt title block. The back cover appears purple and is good. The endpapers are bright yellow with tear in upper right corner. The title page is stiff with very heavy tanning. The interior pages are stiff and intact with moderate to heavy tanning throughout. There is advertising a rear endpaper. 187 pages, size: 7.5 x 5".

"In Black and White" by Rudyard Kipling. Published by Hurst and Company around 1890 (no date). The cover is pale tan with pale pink undertones. There is heavy soiling on the cover and a dark brown area on the lower right corner. The backstrip is darkened with a light gilt title. The back cover is tan with moderate soiling. There are foxing spots on the endpapers and an ex-library pressed stamp. The hinge is cracked at the title page making the cover feel fragile. There is a photograph of the author on the frontispiece. There is a signature from a former owner on the title page and an ex-library marking. The interior pages are stiff and intact with moderate tanning throughout. The hinge is cracked at the rear endpapers. 140 pages, size: 6 x 4.35"
