The cloth is lightly split at the lower cover / backstrip connection. There is heavy fraying of cloth at the upper backstrip. The back cover is red and good with a few light discoloration spots. The endpapers are decorated in tan and heavily tanned. The upper left page corners are bent through page 9. The pages are soft and very heavily tanned, but can be read. There are two black and white illustrations. The rear endpapers are good.
