Cover is bright red with ships on the cover. The cover corners are lightly bumped and bend downward. The cloth on the backstrip is faded and darkened. There is a dark spot near the title on the backstrip. There is shelf-wear and a small tear on the upper backstrip. The back cover is red with light fingerprints. The endpapers have brown floral decoration. The paper on the upper right endpaper is torn. There is large penned signatures on a blank pre-title page. The title page has mild tanning and light foxing. The interior pages are soft, white and intact with mild tanning throughout. There are small dark brown spots in the margin from pages 29-34.
