The volumes have paper backstrips with painted black and white flowers. The backstrip color is faded to yellow with orange undertones. The paper wrapped around the covers have pink tones. There are antique paper labels on the backstrip with script. The covers are stiff and soft. Volume 1: There is light soiling on the cover with a large tanned area along the lower edge. There is heavy tanning / soiling on the back cover (lower-half). There is moderate tanning on the cover. The interior pages are stiff with moderate tanning throughout and light foxing. 384 pages.

Volume 2: There is a small blemish on the left side of the backstrip paper. The title page is white with light foxing. The hinge is cracked at page 99. The interior pages have mild tanning and foxing throughout. 312 pages. Volume 4: There is light soiling on the cover and a very small scripted "44, 48" along the upper edge. There are very light scripted numbers on the back cover. The title page is moderately tanned with foxing. The interior pages vary from mildly tanned to more heavily tanned in the back. 360 pages. Volume 7: There is soiling on the lower right cover edge. The back cover is good. The title page is mildly tanned. There is a 1 cm black spot on page 122. The interior pages are mildly tanned throughout with sections of heavy foxing toward the back. 214 pages. Size: 6.35 x 3.65”
